I am amazed at the lavendar in the landscapes in New Mexico. Every time I see them, of course,
I have to paint them. I love lavendar!
About Me
- Suzy Moritz-Rawdin
- I am a native Texan. My lifelong passion has been painting any and everything, whether its a 2 x 3 inch miniature or a 14 foot wall mural. Somehow my passion comes through the eyes of my lively personal pet portraits. I constantly continue my artistic journey through studies with Texas artists, Kathleen Dello Stritto, Elizabeth Locke and Carol Marine. A lot of my painting inspiration comes from spending summers perfecting the the art of the dazzling effects of New Mexico’s light and its corresponding shadows from the spectacular and inspiring landscapes of Georgia O’Keeffe Country to the magical town of Taos and its surrounding vistas and magnificent sunsets.
